Position Overview: MRI Technologist
The MRI Technologist plays a crucial role in our imaging department, responsible for performing MRI scans with precision and professionalism. This position entails a range of duties, including the execution of specific imaging procedures and the mentorship of students in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct MRI examinations while adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
- Assist in the training and guidance of students and new staff members.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Demonstrated experience in MRI imaging.
- Certification in MRI is preferred or the willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
Work Schedule
- Standard day shifts from Monday to Friday, with rotational on-call responsibilities.
- Flexibility to cover evening or weekend shifts based on operational needs.
- Completion of all tasks by the end of the workday; overtime may be required.
- Availability for on-call duties in case of urgent situations.
- Consistent attendance is expected.
