Position Overview: MRI Technologist

The MRI Technologist plays a crucial role in our imaging department, responsible for performing MRI scans with precision and professionalism. This position entails a range of duties, including the execution of specific imaging procedures and the mentorship of students in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct MRI examinations while adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
  • Assist in the training and guidance of students and new staff members.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Demonstrated experience in MRI imaging.
  • Certification in MRI is preferred or the willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.

Work Schedule

  • Standard day shifts from Monday to Friday, with rotational on-call responsibilities.
  • Flexibility to cover evening or weekend shifts based on operational needs.
  • Completion of all tasks by the end of the workday; overtime may be required.
  • Availability for on-call duties in case of urgent situations.
  • Consistent attendance is expected.
