MRI Technologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team at Novant Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance equipment to obtain diagnostic scans and collaborating with radiologists and fellow staff members regarding patient testing.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate independence in the specialty of MRI
- Act as a patient advocate and incorporate narrative care into patient interactions
- Prioritize job duties according to patients' needs and changing acuity levels and ensures timely completion of imaging exams
- Establishes IV access and administers IV contrast when needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma required. Associates degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of radiology required.
- ARRT registered and eligible to complete the MRI registry or registered in one of the following modalities (radiology, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, or radiation therapy) and successful completion of an approved diploma program in MRI or Graduate of a two year associates degree program in MRI.
- Minimum two years MRI scanning required.
