Pit Stop Food Service Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Specialist to join our team at Pit Stop convenience stores. As a Food Service Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with the operation of food preparation and service for the store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, cook, and serve food to Pit Stop customers.
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance.
  • Greet customers and answer their questions about menu items and specials.
  • Ensure safety by following all food safety and health code regulations.
  • Provide a clean work space and keep kitchens clean at all times.
  • Ensure that all utensils are clean and organized before and after use.
  • Perform any additional tasks that may be needed.
Requirements:
  • No prior food service experience is necessary; selected candidates will receive on the job training and be taught all aspects of the position.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Flexible availability is preferred.
  • A positive and “can-do” attitude is required.
  • Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
