Job Title: Senior SEC Reporting Analyst

Chart Industries is seeking a highly skilled Senior SEC Reporting Analyst to join our corporate accounting department. This is a key role with significant growth opportunities within the team.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented individual with a strong U.S. GAAP foundation, demonstrated through a Master's degree in Accounting or a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and partner with all levels of management.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reporting activities, including the preparation and review of periodic SEC forms, exhibits, earnings releases, and 8-Ks.
  • Prepare footnotes, MD&A, analysis, commentary, financial statements, and other supporting documentation in OneStream, GAAP checklists, and financial statement tie-outs.
  • Prepare and/or review calculations, entries, reports, and/or memos for certain accounting topics, including share-based compensation, earnings per share, debt instruments, investments, derivatives, pensions, business combinations, divestitures, asset impairment testing, and segment reporting.
  • Create and disburse timely consolidated financial statements and other key management reports during the month-end close.
  • Research new and upcoming GAAP requirements and document technical GAAP positions, including the impact on Chart.
  • Support the corporate accounting and financial reporting team to create and update accounting policies and train accountants at corporate and the divisions on consistent application.
  • Provide support and assistance to internal and external auditors as needed.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and assist with special projects, as requested.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Accounting from a 4-year college or university is required.
  • Masters degree in Accounting preferred.
  • CPA (or CPA track) preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in public accounting servicing publicly traded clients or a publicly traded company completing SEC filings.
Work Environment

Primarily office and computer work.
