Job Summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking a highly skilled Information Security Program Analyst II to join our team. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the IS Program is in alignment with the Bank's regulatory and industry compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity risk management, including threat and vulnerability management, aligning controls to frameworks, and improving cyber security maturity. They will also have excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to work closely with the Information Security Manager to develop and implement the organization's governance, risk management, and compliance framework.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of compliance throughout the organization. They will also provide program oversight and work with business owners to validate Information Security controls are working as designed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the organization's governance, risk management, and compliance framework.
  • Identify risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provide program oversight and work with business owners to validate Information Security controls.
  • Conduct database access reviews, quarterly and annual business application access reviews, and branch security reviews.
  • Assist in conducting remote access and mobile access reviews, password, vulnerability scanning, and card holder data testing.
  • Participate in reviewing system configurations and generated reports to ensure server hardening meets applicable standards.
  • Participate in the inspection and reviewing of sampling (PCI) firewall, router, switch, IDS/IPS configurations to ensure compliance with PCI standards.
  • Develop enhancements and make recommendations to controls, policies, and processes to assist in the maturity of the Information Security Program.
Requirements
  • 3 years' experience in information technology and/or information security governance required.
  • 2 years' experience in cybersecurity risk management and compliance with risk management frameworks required.
  • Bachelor's degree in an Information System, Information Technology, or a related discipline preferred, or an equivalent amount of directly related work experience.
  • One or more of the following certifications is preferred: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Internal Security Assessor (ISA), Security.
