Job Summary:

Allina Health is a not-for-profit organization that provides healthcare services in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our team in Northfield, Minnesota.

Key Position Details:

  • We have a team of 15 Family Medicine Physicians and 4 PAs, 1 Pediatrician.
  • We offer a range of specialties on site, including acupuncture, allergy, audiology, gastroenterology, integrative medicine, integrative nutrition, nephrology, neurology, orthopedics, pharmacist, podiatry, psychiatry, and psychology.
  • We have extensive imaging on site.
  • We have a successful mentoring program for new providers who join our practice.
  • We have minimal call coverage, phone only, RN triage support.
  • Clinic hours are Monday-Friday: 7:00am-5pm, and closed Saturday-Sunday.
  • We use the Excellian electronic health record (EHR) system.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Family Medicine Physician, you will work collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being. You will practice in a thoughtful manner, considering cultural diversity, individual autonomy, and legal responsibilities. You will actively participate in a multidisciplinary team approach to case management and utilize quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or workflows.

Requirements:

  • MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required.
  • BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required.
  • Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain).
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable.
  • BLS/ACLS required within 180 days of hire.
