Seagate US LLC is seeking a highly skilled Test Process Engineering Intern to join its Development and Process Architecture Team in Longmont, Colorado. This technical position involves working with mentors to develop and advance manufacturing test process solutions for Cloud hard disk drives.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement software and firmware test process solutions for the latest technologies in hard drive manufacturing.
  • Incorporate these solutions into the early phase of product development cycle by performing integration, testing, failure analysis and resolution, and drive performance characterization.
  • Collaborate with other design engineering functions to deliver successful cross-functional designs.
  • Develop innovative architectural solutions that serve as the backbone for test process software and firmware.
About You

We are looking for a hands-on individual with a proven ability to debug software and firmware issues, identifying failure root cause and driving corrective action. This is a highly collaborative position requiring excellent communication and technical leadership skills. Demonstrable ability to conceive and develop solutions to complex engineering problems is essential.

Requirements

Desirable Skills:

  • Python and/or C expertise.
  • Familiarity with source code control systems such as Perforce.

Education: Current student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Math, Physics, or Computer Science, returning to classes in Fall 2025.
