  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports Mission, Vision, and Values of Destination Pet.
  • Sells services and products to prospective customers.
  • Tours clients and visitors through the facility.
  • Answers phones, receives, and provides information according to established procedures.
  • Welcomes clients and pets, ensures vaccination records up-to-date.
  • Cash management including accepting cash, check, and credit card payments.
  • Explains company policies to customers positively.
  • Responds to complaints professionally, resolves satisfactorily.
  • Escorts pets, provides water as needed.
  • Operates Point-of-Sale system.
  • Maintains lobby and public areas appearance and cleanliness.
  • Completes training and attends sessions as needed.

Requirements include:

  • Expertise and Experience:
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in customer service role or retail sales.
  • Ability to resolve problems quickly and professionally.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical demands include working evenings, weekends, and holidays, frequently lifting 40 pounds, standing, walking, climbing stairs, handling dogs on leashes, and working in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander, and excretions.

This role reports to the General Manager.
