Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

PAGNY is seeking a highly skilled Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. As a key member of our psychiatric department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to minors in our Outpatient Child Psychiatric Clinic and Pediatric Emergency Room.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric services to minors in an outpatient setting
- Manage administrative and regulatory aspects of the department
- Supervise and teach residents and NPs
Requirements
- Board certification in adult psychiatry and board eligibility in child psychiatry
- Completion of an approved psychiatry residency training program in both adult and child psychiatry
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Prior leadership experience with residents and NPs
- License to practice medicine in the State of NY
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary: $272,000 based on a 40-hour work week
- Projected bonus of up to $40,000 contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets
