About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Services Advisor at Office Depot Inc. This part-time role is an excellent opportunity to provide total solutions to our customers, encompassing Technology, Services, Furniture, and Print offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by educating customers about Office Depot products and services, utilizing communication tools to request assistance and coordinate service and customer engagement throughout the store.
  • Perform duties such as cashier, logistics support, stocking, restocking, down stocking, inventory control, cleaning the store, and protecting company assets.
  • Ensure the completion of damaged and defective/buy back merchandise through the RCC process.
  • Proactively acknowledge and engage every customer to ensure a positive customer experience, utilizing and understanding the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution and additional product and/or services solutions.
  • Evaluate customer needs to determine what additional offerings or services they may need, and refer them to the Contract Sales organization when necessary.
  • Continually develop personal selling skills and specialized product knowledge, driving Technology, Tech Services, Furniture, and Print sales by supporting all related current programs, new product launches, and special initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices, and support company loss prevention efforts.
  • Successful completion of Tech, Print, and other applicable training and continued education in these areas is expected, up to and including designated certifications, if required.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a related field.
  • 2 Years Sales and/or Customer Services experience preferred.
  • Ability to use technology and print equipment applicable to the role, and access information necessary to complete daily responsibilities.
  • Ability to process information/merchandise through the POS register system.
  • Computer skills using MS Word Suite, Adobe, and Affinity.
  • Previous experience in a retail environment with copy and print.
  • Strong selling skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Adaptability to a changing environment.
  • Ability to coach and train others in a professional environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
