Job Summary

The Activities Director is responsible for creating and implementing engaging programs for residents at White Birch Communities. This role requires a creative and organized individual who can work well with seniors and lead a team of assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a monthly activities calendar that meets the diverse needs of residents
  • Lead activities and events that promote socialization, physical activity, and mental stimulation
  • Manage the activities department budget and supervise assistants
  • Collaborate with other departments to create a stimulating environment for residents

Requirements:

  • Ability to create and follow a schedule
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work within a set budget
  • Creative and energetic approach to program development
