Responsibilities:
Oversee and guide maintenance personnel and contractors operating within the facility.

Ensure ongoing preventive maintenance and care of the premises, including building systems, fire/safety apparatus, and medical equipment.

Authorize and oversee all essential repairs, maintaining precise records and generating required reports.

Evaluate maintenance tasks for quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Uphold a clean and secure working environment (workshop).

Confirm daily logs of refrigerator temperatures.

Validate daily tests and logs of water temperatures within the facility.


Enforce and adhere to budgetary constraints concerning supplies and services, following the proper procedures related to the purchase order system and obtaining necessary approvals prior to ordering supplies.

Comply with facility policies and procedures.

Serve as chairperson for the Safety Committee.

Adhere to the standards outlined in FutureCare's Statement of Corporate Ethics and the Corporate Compliance Plan.

Ensure compliance with State and Federal Regulatory codes.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory maintenance role.

General understanding of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, roofing, and grounds maintenance.

Familiarity with the principles of supervision, organization, and administration.

Must demonstrate considerable independent judgment.

Ability to exercise tact and courtesy in interactions with facility staff, contractors, and the general public.
