Tax Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients year-round.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized service.
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Provide tax planning and audit support to clients, helping them navigate complex tax issues.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, applying this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices, driving continuous improvement in our services.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of tax experience, with a strong background in individual tax returns and tax planning.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, both in person and virtually.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
• Proficiency in tax software and technology, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and systems.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
