About the Role:
LRS Consulting Services is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient and scalable data pipelines and data-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Build and manage Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure timely, clean, and accurate data for analytics and reporting.
- Integrate data from various internal and external data sources into the organization's data platform.
- Work with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and potentially non-relational databases to store, retrieve, and manage large datasets.
- Implement and enforce data quality, governance, and security policies to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Optimize data workflows, query performance, and storage solutions for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Automate repetitive data processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting processes for data systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or related field.
- Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and manage relational databases.
- Experience with SAP BODS.
- Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle and project lifecycle principles.
- Proficiency in database development and various programming/scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Experience with cloud platforms and their data-related services is preferred but not required.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
