We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Electrical Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a leader in electrical systems design, you will be responsible for managing and guiding our electrical design team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead electrical design teams for multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate workload and ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Track financial aspects of projects and adjust work effort to meet budget requirements.
- Conduct schematic, design development, and contract document working sessions with clients.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships, participate in marketing, design, and production meetings.
- Conduct reviews with governing agencies for code compliance.
- Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance and support.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
- PE License in ability to gain reciprocity (preferred).
- 10+ years' experience in electrical design of complex buildings.
- Extensive knowledge of building electrical power, lighting, and signal design, including life safety systems and energy monitoring systems.
- Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm.
- Strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, and electrical design software.
