We are currently looking for a Production Assembler I.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Production Assembler I, your duties will encompass, but are not limited to:
  • Assembly and fabrication of wire harnesses.
  • Understanding PLI Manufacturing, customer, and industry standards and requirements.
  • Clear communication with the Procurement department and suppliers as necessary.
  • Working to meet both customer and internal production timelines.
  • Upholding a high level of integrity in interactions with all departments.
  • Identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Maintaining the work area according to appropriate standards, adhering to 6S methodologies.
  • Following company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employment Handbook.
  • Aiming to meet or exceed time objectives for each task performed.
  • Learning to utilize the PLEX operating system as it pertains to production and job functions.


ABOUT YOU:


High School Diploma or GED required. Proficiency in using and interpreting measuring tools, such as scales, calipers, micrometers, crimpers, and other hand tools.

Ability to learn to read, comprehend, and execute both written and verbal instructions, including blueprints and electrical wiring schematics.

Willingness to learn, understand, and achieve internal IPC-620 and J-STD certification.

Strong attention to detail, along with organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Effective communication skills, self-motivated, and punctual.

Capability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
