Assembler II

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assembler II to join our team at Phoenix Logistics. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling critical aerospace parts and components.

• Fabricate and assemble complex aerospace parts and components, including wire harnesses and electronic assemblies.
• Utilize a range of hand tools and equipment, including solder pots, solder irons, crimp tooling, and digital calipers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, illustrations, and specifications to determine layouts and sequences of operations.
• Understand and comply with company, customer, and industry standards and requirements.
• Communicate effectively with the procurement department and suppliers as needed.
• Work to meet customer and internal production schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 6S methodologies.
• Drive to meet or exceed time goals for each job performed, utilizing the PLEX operating system as needed.

• Certification to J-STD-001 Solder Workmanship and IPC-A-610/620 Wire Harness Workmanship.
• Certification to NASA Standards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions, including blueprints and electrical wiring schematics.
• Ability to read scales, tape measures, and calipers.
• Ability to see details at close range and make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers to grasp and manipulate small objects.
• Ability to retain large amounts of data and execute tasks by recalling information.
• Ability to use tools such as side cutters, crimpers, wire strippers, special jigs, and press tools.
• Knowledge of basic to intermediate computer skills and arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and work individually with multitasking.
• Ability to receive and communicate instructions as needed.
