Key Responsibilities:- Conducting diagnostic imaging procedures on designated anatomical areas following departmental protocols.
- Identifying and documenting internal body structures, recognizing any anomalies that may indicate medical conditions.
- Adjusting imaging equipment and reassuring patients to minimize any test artifacts.
- Monitoring patients for any concerning physical or emotional changes.
- Assessing imaging results for clarity and precision.
- Collaborating with colleagues and physicians to review imaging results.
- Communicating preliminary findings to physicians as per departmental guidelines.
- Distributing finalized imaging results to healthcare providers.
- Preparing diagnostic information for physician analysis.
- Maintaining patient records, entering diagnosis and billing codes, and updating patient information systems.
- Cleaning and sterilizing imaging equipment and work areas.
- Identifying equipment malfunctions and coordinating repairs as necessary.
- Instructing patients on pre-test preparations, addressing inquiries, and clarifying procedures.
- Adhering to hospital and departmental policies and protocols.
- Ensuring equipment maintenance in line with Infection Control standards.
- Enhancing technical skills through ongoing education and training programs.
- Administering contrast agents under the supervision of the site Radiologist, following specific protocols.
- Maintaining valid practice permits in all relevant states.
- Conducting quality checks on equipment and troubleshooting issues.
- Coordinating service calls and informing relevant team members.
- Following quality assurance protocols and ensuring patient confidentiality.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Essential Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital environment, particularly in ER, OR, Trauma, and Portable imaging.
Required Certifications:
Valid ARRT license in Radiography.
Current CPR certification.
State licensure (candidates without this may be considered if willing to obtain it).
Preferred Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to engage with clients and team members in a professional and ethical manner.
Flexibility, reliability, and sound judgment are essential.
