Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures using state-of-the-art computerized diagnostic imaging equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, some of a more complex nature, utilizing state of the art computerized diagnostic imaging equipment.
  • Demonstrate competency with starting and maintaining intravenous (IV) access and the use of high speed, pressurized injection equipment.
  • Evaluate patient for clinical contrast history and possible contra-indications.
  • Adhere to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Interact appropriately with patients and all care providers by coordinating and prioritizing procedures during the workday to maintain a high level of patient care and continuity.
  • Must possess the ability and willingness to rotate within departments and clinics for proper coverage.
  • Assist Radiologist in invasive and biopsy type procedures using CT equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
  • Ensure that exam rooms are neat, clean, and adequately stocked prior to exams being performed and acts to ensure compliance with Infection Control standards. Ensure all charges are correctly coded and entered.
Qualifications
  • BLS and ACLS
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Requires a minimum of two years of current CT Tech experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech/CT Tech program
  • Active unencumbered CT Tech Delaware state license
  • One year of Epic experience
