Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Weekend Program team. As an RN at The Oaks at Byron Center, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, taking into account their unique needs and preferences.
- Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate resident care, including physician orders, lab results, and other relevant information.
- Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and update care plans accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
