The Senior Travel Trainer is expected to demonstrate sound judgment when interacting with all government and contract personnel, showcasing exemplary work performance and adherence to professional standards, as well as operational and security protocols established by the Government and ManTech International, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct end-user training and support for customized hardware and software solutions in various locations, both domestic and international. Training will emphasize the use of Windows 10/11 OS and peripheral device management (printers, scanners, biometric devices, etc.) alongside relevant policies and procedures to ensure successful transaction processing.
  • Operate independently and collaboratively within small teams to assist with various software and systems-related tasks.
  • Facilitate training sessions for participants in one-on-one, small group, large group, virtual, and ad hoc formats.
  • Design, organize, and deliver technical training and related materials in support of customers and/or company personnel.
  • Collaborate with customers and functional organizations to define training content and objectives.
  • Develop training plans based on onsite database and workflow analysis.
  • Adhere to established processes and clearly document any issues or problems encountered.
  • Ensure training materials accurately reflect current product features.
  • Provide daily status updates to management and customers during training activities.
  • Complete and submit all reporting requirements promptly.
  • Offer Go-Live support for workstation deployments.
  • Be available for after-hours and weekend support as necessary to accommodate overseas or domestic training tasks.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Exhibit effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess a proactive attitude with the ability to work with minimal guidance and supervision.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exhibit excellent organizational skills, capable of managing competing priorities and initiating projects.

Job Qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Experience in delivering software application training to end users in classroom settings, one-on-one, virtual, or equivalent teaching environments.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and effective decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Productivity applications.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, education, business administration, or management information sciences. Relevant work experience and/or industry certifications demonstrating technical proficiency may substitute for educational requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession of one or more technical certifications (CompTIA ITF+, A+, Network+, Security+, CTT+, Microsoft Certified Trainer, Microsoft Certified Educator, MS Endpoint Administrator, etc.) is highly preferred.
  • Experience in training end users on complex hardware and software solutions is highly preferred.
  • Experience delivering technical training through remote training tools such as MS Teams and Cisco Webex is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with international travel requirements, including visas, medical, and passports, is highly preferred.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.
  • A current and active Secret clearance is highly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 50% of the time.
  • Must be capable of delivering clear and effective communication both verbally and non-verbally for updates, briefings, or interactions with co-workers and leadership.
  • Must be able to work in an office environment and navigate within this space to utilize office equipment and interact with colleagues and customers.
  • Must effectively use IT peripherals such as laptops, desktops, printers, and fax machines.
  • Must be able to deliver presentations as required.
  • Must be able to review, decipher, and understand program manuals, software/hardware manuals, and training manuals.
  • Most work will be performed in a professional office environment; however, deployments may require lifting and moving computer and other equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as pushing a wheeled dolly loaded with multiple computer systems. The position may also involve bending, kneeling, or crawling to access cables under or behind furniture and server racks.
  • Must be able to fly on international flights lasting up to 18 hours.
