Position Overview

The Culinary Preparation Specialist plays a vital role in crafting menu items that align with Uhlife's standards. This position emphasizes cleanliness and adherence to food safety protocols while supporting our mission to provide nutritious meals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Execute kitchen tasks, including chopping, cooking, and maintaining a clean workspace while following established recipes and preparation guidelines.
  2. Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen area, which includes sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
  3. Prepare menu items according to Uhlife's quality specifications.
  4. Monitor inventory levels, ensuring product quality and proper temperature control.
  5. Provide courteous and professional service to members and fellow team members.
  6. Maintain a reliable attendance record.

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a culinary setting.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • CPR/AED certification to be obtained within thirty days of employment.
  • Serve Safe certification to be obtained within thirty days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of nutrition.
  • Experience in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Two years of experience in a high-volume kitchen.
