Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Northwell Health. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray and auxiliary equipment, processing images, and maintaining required documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for exams and provide clear explanations of the examination process to alleviate anxiety.
  • Operate x-ray equipment and controls to obtain correct exposure, positioning patients according to departmental standards.
  • Monitor patients' conditions during procedures and recognize and report any abnormalities.
  • Process and maintain exposed images, labeling them correctly and maintaining required records.
  • Perform related duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.
  • Minimum of one year experience performing radiologic exams.
