  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the efficient completion of radiographic procedures.
  • Operate radiological equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Position patients and radiographic equipment to ensure maximum information is obtained, using lead markers and positioning devices as necessary.
  • Follow accepted radiologic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the examination process.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to clarify examination requisitions and ensure accurate patient information is obtained.
  • Perform routine quality control checks on X-ray equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in the completion of special projects, reports, and activities as required.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
  • 2-5+ years of experience preferred.
  • New York State License required.
  • ARRT Registry required.
