Position Overview:
The Early Childhood Service Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting children from birth to age three and their families through the various stages of the Early Intervention (EI) service system. This includes managing the intake process, conducting evaluations, determining eligibility, and guiding families through the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) process while monitoring their progress.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a manageable case load and conduct home visits to engage with families effectively.
- Utilize personal transportation for travel to client locations, with mileage reimbursement provided at the IRS standard rate.
- Operate in a dynamic environment with a strong emphasis on meeting deadlines, necessitating exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, speech, early childhood education, special education, or a related field with coursework in child development is mandatory.
- Commitment to obtaining and maintaining necessary certifications and credentials.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and uphold ethical standards.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively with infants, families, paraprofessionals, and specialists.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills, demonstrating diplomacy and clarity.
- High attention to detail and outstanding organizational abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with database access.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- A valid driver's license, proof of automobile insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
- Experience in Service Coordination and Early Intervention or Early Childhood is preferred.
