  • Communicating daily with the property manager to discuss priorities and schedule work.
  • Surveying buildings and repairing mechanical systems to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Inspecting alarm systems and scheduling repairs as needed.
  • Performing manual repairs, appliance repair, and troubleshooting.
  • Conducting general upkeep procedures and maintaining a clean, organized shop.
  • Complying with federal and state fair housing regulations.
  • Providing excellent customer service to residents.

Requirements include:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the multi-family industry.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician.
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywalling, painting, and other relevant skills.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
  • Good physical condition and strength.
  • HVAC Certification.
