Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team at Winfield Property Management, LLC. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, appearance, and functionality.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform general plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the facility's equipment and systems.
  • Inspect equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
  • Conduct quarterly preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems continue operating properly.
  • Handle service requests from tenants and ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks. Maintain a professional and courteous manner when interacting with tenants.
  • Perform general safety repairs onsite to protect property and residents.
  • Work to refurbish residences prior to occupancy.
  • Be on call for emergencies.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Thorough knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repair.
  • Ability to provide and use hand tools and power tools.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and able to follow instructions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with tenants, contractors, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Willingness to assist colleagues and contribute to the overall success of Winfield Property Management, LLC.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience preferred.
  • Pool certification, EPA certification, HVAC certification, Fair Housing Training preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods walking and standing.
  • Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.
  • Must be physically able to operate power equipment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50-100 pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
