Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tools Product Development Manager to join our team at United Rentals. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing tools and industrial solutions to support our internal sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase tools market share within assigned districts or geographies
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to provide customers with customized solutions, services, and expertise
  • Accompany sales representatives on complex sales calls and assist in selecting the most cost-effective solutions for customers
  • Develop and conduct training programs to create awareness and drive growth in tools and industrial solutions
  • Work closely with corporate sales and business intelligence to provide leads to sales representatives using SFDC, Dodge, and other information tools
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • 7+ years of solutions sales experience, preferably in the industrial sector
  • Firm working knowledge of existing and emerging tools and industrial solutions products and applications
  • Current valid driver's license with a safe driving record and ability to travel 80% of the time within assigned territory
  • Strategic selling and advanced negotiation and customer service skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and research skills
  • Able to assess, quote, and secure large projects through solution-based selling
  • Proficient with SFDC, Dodge, PEC, or other CRM software; proficiency with MS Office (specifically Word and Excel)
