Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care to patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions of care, promoting continuity and coordination of patient care.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical or specialty unit.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
- Experience with Meditech or other electronic medical record systems.
- Previous experience in a medical-surgical or specialty unit, with a focus on patient-centered care.
