Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Methodist Hospital Hill Country. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic exams using X-ray and CT technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic exams using X-ray and CT technology, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
  • Position patients correctly and safely for exams, using proper technique and safety protocols.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including X-ray and CT machines, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and process radiographic images, using computerized tomography (CT) and other imaging modalities.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams, including images and reports.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in diagnostic imaging technology and techniques.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from Texas Medical Board.
  • ARRT (R) certification.
  • Eligibility to test for ARRT (CT) certification within 6 months of hire.
