  • Maintain and refine existing map databases to reflect the latest data.
  • Extract imagery from various sources and access methods.
  • Produce orthorectified images in support of various products and ad-hoc requests.
  • Evaluate orthorectified images for accuracy, quality, and consistency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 5 years demonstrated programming skills, including Python and Java scripts.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data science, including data services, modeling, and analytics.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience performing geospatial data management, including data type conversion, coordinate systems, and projections.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience using Tableau or equivalent Business Intelligence software and associated server functions.
  • Knowledge and experience using version control tools, such as Git.
  • Proficient with ESRI Workflow Manager WMX and TAM.
  • Experience with artificial intelligence, natural language processing, machine-to-machine learning, and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience constructing data processing pipelines using authoritative sources and applying machine learning techniques.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with geospatial data in a multi-user enterprise environment.
  • Experience analyzing data from ground surveys, reports, aerial photographs, and satellite images.
  • Experience preparing and altering trace maps, charts, tables, detailed drawings, and three-dimensional optical models of terrain.
  • Experience evaluating commercial imagery products for accuracy.
  • Ability to collect data from rasterized sources and rectify images as required.
  • Ability to use imagery for nautical chart compilation.
  • Knowledge of geospatial database content management.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and occasionally move about to access files, office machinery, or communicate with colleagues and management.
