Purchasing Supervisor Role
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Supervisor to join our team in our Guymon, OK, processing facility. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for procuring materials and ingredients needed to produce high-quality pork products. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to establish procure-to-pay procedures and initial min/max inventory levels, as well as providing oversight and direction for preparing and processing requisitions and purchase orders.
Responsibilities
As a Purchasing Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and ingredients.
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop and implement effective inventory management strategies.
- Providing training and development opportunities to the purchasing and receiving team to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Analyzing data and completing reports to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Maintaining accurate records and files, including SQF Vendor files, and ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and compliant.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to process data and formulate plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Experience with SAP and JDE, or similar systems.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines, with a high level of accuracy and precision.

Salary Range
The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Location
The successful candidate will be based in our Guymon, OK, processing facility.
