Job Description

Job Title: Low Observable Section Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Low Observable Section Manager to lead our team of engineers in the development and implementation of advanced materials and technologies for stealth technology programs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in survivability engineering, leadership skills, and experience in managing teams and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers in the development and implementation of advanced materials and technologies for stealth technology programs.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of the team to ensure timely and successful completion of projects.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed.
  • Develop and manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of company funds.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and 9+ years of related professional experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM field and 7+ years of related professional experience.
  • Strong background in survivability engineering, with a focus on advanced materials.
  • Leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing teams and projects.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance, with the ability to attain and maintain Special Access Programs (SAP) clearance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Technical Knowledge, Skills and Experience within the specific Survivability Discipline.
  • Experience leading a team of diverse individuals toward a common objective.
  • Previous experience leading projects in the SAP/SAR environment, with strong project management and team development skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
  • 5+ years of direct experience leading teams and managing projects.
