Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support for the technology platform, including log analysis, issue troubleshooting, data analysis, and system health monitoring.
  • Perform system maintenance, patching, and upgrade activities for release and change deployments.
  • Collaborate with Development and QE teams to resolve issues and provide timely status updates to stakeholders.
  • Build system health monitoring solutions using tools like CloudWatch and OpenSearch.
  • Implement and adhere to Service Management processes and procedures for Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Requests.
  • Generate regular reporting to inform on SLA performance for Incidents, Changes, and Problems.
  • Develop and maintain Runbooks for current and new features, including managing KBA and KEDB artifacts.
  • Lead or participate in Change Advisory Board meetings as required.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, development, and/or operations roles.
  • Hands-on experience working in cloud environments, such as AWS, with familiarity with GovCloud a plus.
  • Understanding of compute, networking, and storage technologies in cloud environments.
  • Experience working with databases, data lakes, pub/sub models, and ETL processes.
  • Experience building system health monitoring solutions and dashboards, including automation.
  • Understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodology and ITIL best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with developers, project managers, and QE teams.
  • Able to thrive independently with direction and objectives.
  • Creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Personal drive to meet deadlines and deliverables.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong documentation skills, including Runbooks, KEDB, and KBA.
  • US citizenship required; US Security Clearance a plus.
  • Hybrid work schedule; preferably commutable distance to Chicago office location.
