Key Responsibilities:

Overview:

In this role, you will work under the guidance of the Customer Service Supervisor to ensure client satisfaction by delivering courteous, professional, and efficient service consistently. You will reach out to specific low-volume accounts to enhance service and communication.

Work Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm EST

Wednesday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm EST

Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST

(1 day a month in office)

Primary Duties Include:

  • Initiating monthly service outreach to designated low-volume accounts within the local area.
  • Updating existing clients on new programs, promotional activities, products, and services while addressing any current issues or unresolved matters.
  • Resolving customer concerns such as missed shipments, pricing discrepancies, and backorders, with a focus on prompt resolution.
  • Collaborating with field sales associates to coordinate special orders and handle quotations and manufacturer inquiries.
  • Working alongside warehouse associates and clients to ensure a seamless order process.
  • Processing all forms of orders received from customers via phone, fax, mail, email, and verbal communication.
  • Providing accurate responses to customer inquiries and complaints regarding products and services; escalating issues to the Customer Service Supervisor when necessary.
  • Performing data entry for processing orders, accessing previous orders, and providing current pricing information.
  • Assisting clients with backorders by suggesting alternatives and maintaining communication with manufacturers regarding delivery updates.
  • Facilitating communication between all departments within the Distribution Center and field sales associates.
  • Acting as a liaison between clients and field sales associates.
  • Offering suggestions to the Supervisor to enhance customer service operations.
  • Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, safety regulations, and performing related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A background in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field, typically acquired through a Bachelor’s Degree program or equivalent experience.
  • Less than one year of directly related experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong decision-making and analytical abilities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to creatively resolve customer issues to enhance satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with Cencora’s products and pharmaceutical distribution operations is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and inventory management systems.
