Job Summary

We are seeking a Claims Adjuster Trainee to join our team at Progressive Insurance. As a Claims Adjuster Trainee, you will be responsible for helping customers resolve their insurance claims in a fair and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Coverage: Assess the extent of damage or loss to determine the amount of coverage available to the customer.
  • Determine Liability: Investigate the circumstances surrounding the claim to determine who is at fault for the damages.
  • Interview Customers and Claimants: Conduct interviews with customers, claimants, and witnesses to gather information and evidence related to the claim.
  • Partner with Appraisers/Estimators: Collaborate with appraisers and estimators to manage vehicle repairs and ensure that the customer receives a fair settlement.
  • Negotiate with Customers and Other Insurance Carriers: Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers to resolve claims and ensure that the customer receives a fair settlement.
Requirements
  • Three Years of Relevant Work Experience or a Bachelor's degree or two years of relevant work experience and an associate degree.
Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm

Training Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

Compensation
  • Once you complete training, your salary will range from $51,000-$54,500/year.
  • Gainshare bonus up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
