Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Keolis North America LLC. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment components, including gas and diesel engines, transmissions, and differentials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment components, including gas and diesel engines, transmissions, and differentials
  • Ensure compliance with all railroad rules and regulations for safety, operations, and the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA)
  • Drive heavy-duty service trucks, including truck-mounted cranes
  • Perform other duties as assigned during emergencies
Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent educational credential
  • Five years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic
  • Welding experience
  • Valid Driver's License - DOT Medical Card, Hoisting License
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
Working Conditions

Work hours may include overtime, and various shift work. Involves working outside in all types of weather conditions year-round as assigned.
