Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician II

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician II to join our team in Savannah, GA.

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the Equipment Maintenance Technician II will provide expertise in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems for troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance to all aircraft-related production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions or failures of operational equipment.
  2. Conduct proactive preventive and predictive maintenance inspections and perform required duties in accordance with recommended schedules.
  3. Perform repairs and corrective maintenance to equipment with a high degree of quality and reliability.
  4. Set up and calibrate equipment on scheduled intervals.
  5. Input required data in the CMMS system for machine reliability and control.
Additional Responsibilities:
  1. Interface with key management and production personnel regarding aircraft-related production equipment.
  2. Assist with engineering acceptance testing and training.
Requirements:
  1. Ability to work any shift.
  2. Background in CNC equipment and GSE equipment a plus.
  3. Must be able to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
  4. Must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  5. Must have a demonstrated working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and controls aspects of factory automation systems and the integration of devices used.
  6. Working knowledge of replacing spindles, ball screws, linear guide ways, bearings, hydraulics repairs, and precision machine/laser alignments a plus.
  7. A working knowledge of PC-based Microsoft Office and experience with computerized maintenance management software relevant to spare parts management, work order creation, and preventive maintenance preferred.
