Aircraft Technician II

Job Summary:
Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Complex Aircraft Inspections and Repairs: Conduct thorough inspections and repairs of aircraft systems and structures, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with Maintenance Teams: Collaborate with Maintenance Team Leaders, Service Team Managers, and the Inspection Department to ensure seamless execution of maintenance tasks and compliance with internal and FAA inspection requirements.
- Ensure Quality and Safety: Verify that all work accomplished meets quality standards and specifications, and that all customer property and equipment are properly identified, stored, and maintained.
- Operate Ground Support Equipment: Safely operate ground support equipment, including external power carts, hydraulic mules, hydraulic lift platforms, tow tugs, forklifts, compressed gas cylinders, and other equipment as required.
- Coordinate Aircraft Movement: Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas, ensuring safe and efficient movement of aircraft.
- Provide Training and Support: Train less experienced technicians and provide support as needed to ensure the success of the maintenance team.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required; FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and 2 years of aviation maintenance experience or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience to include 2 years of experience working on mid/large size aircraft required.
- Language and Communication: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
