Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Wexford Health Sources. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This will involve assessing physical, psychological, and psychosocial dimensions of patients, applying knowledge of illnesses, injuries, and diseases, and providing leadership to RNs, LPNs, MAs, CNAs, and other nursing paraprofessionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical, psychological, and psychosocial dimensions and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide leadership to nursing staff and participate in training and education programs
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
Requirements:
  • Current, valid New Mexico Registered Nursing License
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Associate's Degree required; Bachelors' Degree preferred)
  • Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience; correctional nursing experience a plus
