Job Summary:

The Rental Coordinator's primary function is managing and processing the branch's rental/sales agreements, assisting with dispatching, and assigning field teams with a safety-first mindset. Must fully support the company vision and team culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Book equipment orders for customers via inbound calls. Provide exceptional customer service, answering all questions concerning equipment and offering additional items i.e., berms, hoses, etc.
  • Documentation and Shipping: Work closely with the operation and sales team to prepare documentation for customer contract setup, shipping, and returns
  • Field Team Management: Distribute daily assignments to field teams
  • Equipment Management: Ensure that all returned and/or off-rented equipment is properly documented
  • Inventory Management: Maintain branch inventory of all equipment
  • Quality Control: Track and manage the quality control of all equipment
  • Support and Improvement: Provide backup support to other team members in the office as necessary. Suggest ideas and ways to improve branch efficiency
  • Travel: This position does include traveling to other facilities (company-paid)
Equipment Used:
  • Computer, telephone, and electronic office equipment
  • MS Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel
  • Access the company's internal systems including, Salesforce, SAP, Intranet, Descartes, bank websites, e-invoicing, and chat software
Requirements:
  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in the rental industry, customer service, or billing, preferred
  • 1-2 years of data entry experience
  • Exposure to standard concepts of scheduling and dispatching
  • Exposure to DOT and state-specific safety regulations helpful
  • Communicate clearly: verbal and written
  • Strong MS Excel experience preferred
