Position Responsibilities

The Senior Survey Technician will:

  • Prepare and process survey documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project timelines.
  • Utilize AutoCAD for drafting line work based on collected survey data.
  • Conduct research on legal and survey records to clarify property boundaries.
  • Execute topographic mapping and construction staking.
  • Collaborate with both field and office teams to produce various survey documents.
  • Adjust conventional and P.S. control networks as necessary.
  • Apply legal principles to resolve boundary issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • In-depth knowledge of Washington State survey standards and federal Public Lands Survey System.
  • Expertise in boundary principles and land surveying practices.
  • Proficiency in Civil3D and Land Development Desktop; familiarity with Inroads/Microstation is advantageous.
  • Experience in various types of land surveying, including boundary, topographic, and construction stake-out.
  • Field experience with data collection and instrument operation.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Office applications.
