Position ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Survey Technician will:
- Prepare and process survey documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project timelines.
- Utilize AutoCAD for drafting line work based on collected survey data.
- Conduct research on legal and survey records to clarify property boundaries.
- Execute topographic mapping and construction staking.
- Collaborate with both field and office teams to produce various survey documents.
- Adjust conventional and P.S. control networks as necessary.
- Apply legal principles to resolve boundary issues.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- In-depth knowledge of Washington State survey standards and federal Public Lands Survey System.
- Expertise in boundary principles and land surveying practices.
- Proficiency in Civil3D and Land Development Desktop; familiarity with Inroads/Microstation is advantageous.
- Experience in various types of land surveying, including boundary, topographic, and construction stake-out.
- Field experience with data collection and instrument operation.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Office applications.
