Equipment Maintenance Technician Job Description

As a key member of the Pro-Vac team, you will be responsible for maintaining the company's expansive fleet of equipment, ensuring that all vehicles are in excellent working condition. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing a variety of equipment, including heavy-duty trucks and specialized tools used for subsurface construction and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy equipment, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems
  • Performing regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex equipment problems
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and functioning as expected

Requirements:

  • At least two years of experience working with heavy equipment, including hydraulics and electrical systems
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
