Job Summary

The Maintenance Associate plays a key role in our operations, responsible for performing regular and preventive maintenance on all equipment used in our facility to ensure the successful execution of production activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assemble and install machinery and equipment prior to use, utilizing hand and power tools, as well as welding equipment.
  2. Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
  3. Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  4. Troubleshoot and repair equipment with a working knowledge of low electrical systems, allowing for efficient repair and replacement results.
  5. Optimize equipment safety, efficiency, and reliability, participating in continuous improvement projects and completing work orders according to PM schedules.
  6. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  1. Previous experience working in a similar role within a production environment.
  2. Exceptional mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  3. HVAC Certification highly preferred.
  4. Refrigeration experience highly preferred.
  5. Ammonia one level operator experience a plus.
  6. Proven troubleshooting ability with emphasis on safety and reliability.
  7. Awareness of all safety standards and requirements for maintenance work.
  8. Ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and shop machines.
  9. Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment without supervision.
  10. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  11. Excellent organization and time management skills.
  12. Will to work overtime and weekends during peak season.
