Job Overview

The Senior Facilities Custodial Supervisor is accountable to the General Manager or District Manager.

This role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing all custodial operations, ensuring financial accountability and adherence to the standards set by Aramark, regulatory bodies, and clients.

It is essential to cultivate and maintain effective collaborations with various departments to deliver a cohesive approach to facilities management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Direct all facets of custodial operations while upholding established quality benchmarks, ensuring safe practices, and achieving full regulatory compliance through training, supervising, assessing, and inspiring assigned staff.

2. Develop and uphold a safety-oriented culture that fosters a work environment where safety is paramount.

3. Review and analyze all financial reports related to facility operations, collaborating with managers and directors to meet financial objectives.

4. Actively nurture a positive relationship between Aramark and the client, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

5. Administer HR policies and ensure compliance with company regulations regarding safety, sanitation, and procurement.

6. Oversee staffing, personnel development, training, and education initiatives.

7. Contribute to the development of operational forecasts and provide explanations for any variances.

8. Ensure proficient and consistent use of the Computerized Management Maintenance System (CMMS) to effectively manage operations.

Qualifications

- A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive management experience in custodial services.

- Management experience in a diverse environment is essential.

- Custodial experience in a related field is highly preferred.

- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

- Ability to coordinate and lead capital projects, maintenance plans, and funding requests from inception to completion is required.

- Strong financial analysis, interpretation, budgeting, and computer skills are necessary.

- Profit and Loss accountability and/or experience in contract-managed services is highly desirable.

- Must exhibit strong leadership, customer service, communication, and team-building skills.

- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities are essential.


This position may involve physical demands, including but not limited to lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing.

Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required for this role.
