LifeBridge Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Levindale Hospital. As a LPN-ACUTE Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients in the High Intensity Care Unit (HICU).

About the Unit:

The HICU is a 20-bed unit that provides care for patients who require attention for acute brain injury, respiratory assistance, or special monitoring. Our team approach ensures that patients receive comprehensive care, and our staff members are outgoing and positive, utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status and develop individualized care plans.

Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, ensuring that the needs of patients are met. You will also assume responsibilities of a leadership role as needed, attending to the daily operations of the unit on a per shift basis.

Requirements:

  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college)
  • License for Practical Nursing and AHA BLS CPR Certification
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of specialized equipment, including IV Pump, Phillips Monitoring System, Accucheck, and EKG Machine
