Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Provider to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care for patients with chronic or acute wounds, promoting healing and preventing complications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regularly assesses and evaluates the condition of acute and chronic wounds.
  • Performs wound consultation, wound care, debridement, and advanced wound modalities.
  • Orders, performs, supervises, and interprets diagnostic and laboratory tests.
  • Initiates and manages wound care plans based on patient needs and medical history.
  • Monitors and documents wound healing progress, including measurements and photographs.
  • Educates patients and their families on wound care techniques and preventive measures.
  • Maintains records and charts in a timely manner.
  • Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient-related information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Maintains skills and knowledge.
  • Coordinates care for patients living in a home setting.
  • Organizes work schedule and patient visits.
Requirements
  • Graduate level degree as APRN or PA.
  • Currently licensed to practice in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Functions within the duties permitted by state.
  • Ability to work independently, make accurate, and at times, quick judgements.
  • Acceptance of and adaptability to different social, racial, cultural, and religious backgrounds.
  • Completes Wound Care Certification upon hire.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an APRN or PA preferred.
  • Active patient contact within the past three years preferred.
  • Wound care experience is preferred but will train the right candidate.
