Job Description:

We are seeking detail-oriented Clinical Documentation Associates to join our team. As a Clinical Documentation Associate at Scribe-X, you will be responsible for providing precise and timely documentation support to our physician clients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Chart preparation according to clinic protocol
  2. Accompanying providers during scheduled patient visits
  3. Documentation of patient history, physical exams, procedures, and patient plans
  4. Entry of laboratory and radiographic studies as ordered by the provider
  5. Reminder of relevant quality metrics and documentation thereof
  6. Review of completed charts with the provider between patients or at the completion of the shift
  7. Update of provider preference and clinic preference documents as necessary

Requirements:

  • Typing speed of at least 60+ WPM
  • Availability to work 30-40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 7:30 am-5:30 pm PST)
  • Necessity of a HIPAA-compliant workspace to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Fluency in English with excellent writing and speaking skills
