Quality Assurance Specialist

The Quality Technician I role at TreeHouse Foods is a key position that involves testing and inspecting products at various stages of production processes. This includes performing quality testing of products, directing plant personnel in solving production problems, and evaluating organoleptic properties of products.
Key Responsibilities- Perform quality testing of products, including mixing, processing, packaging, and warehouse handling.
- Direct plant personnel in solving production problems, including formulation adjustments and changes.
- Evaluate organoleptic properties of products by tasting and smelling the products and visually evaluating color and appearance.
- Enter test results in QA database; perform routine inspections and conduct SSOP audits.
- Perform assigned Sensory Evaluations/Shelf-Life Testing and assist with R&D runs & Sensory Program.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required, secondary education a plus.
- 1-3 years of QA experience.
- SQF Practitioner & HACCP Certification preferred.
- Work experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
