Position: Claims Adjuster
Location: Omaha, NE - In office
Type: Full-time Salaried
Responsibilities:
- Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate insurance claims to ensure fair and timely resolutions.
- Review policy coverage, determine liability, and settle claims in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, witnesses, and other relevant parties to gather information and resolve disputes.
- Document all claim activities and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient claim resolution and provide exceptional customer service.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations, to ensure compliance and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in claims adjusting to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in claims adjusting or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of insurance principles, policies, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using claims management software and tools.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in claims adjusting preferred.
